Spouse2 :
Name : Sally Ann Lawrence (Druse Dana) (twice widowed)
Date of Marriage : November 1863
Place of Marriage : Goodhue County, Minnesota
Died : after 1900
Notes : Marriage ceremony performed by Rev. Harvey Webb. Sally had previously been married to Zina Druse, 6 March 1839, at Boone County, Illinois and after his death to Charles Dana, Sr., 5 July 1850, also at Boone County, Illinois.  Either directly prior to, or right after relocating to Minnesota, Sally was widowed again and married a third and last time to Oliver Webb. Sally had children by both Zina Druse and Charles Dana, Sr., but not by Oliver.  Charles Dana was one of the founders of Roscoe Township in Goodhue County, Minnesota.  Charles Dana appears on the 1860 Farm Enumeration for Roscoe Township, so must have been alive at that point.  According to the 1900 Census of Fruitvale Precinct, Yakima County, Washington, she is living with her son Daniel; states she was born in 1819 in New York.

Date of Death : 12 June 1897, ‘aged 92 years’

Burial Information :
Notes : He was living with his step-son Daniel Druse.  Obituary in the Yakima Herald, issue of 17 June 1897.

Religion : He was a member of the Free Will Baptist Church when he lived in Huron County, Ohio, the same church where his father was a Deacon.  In about 1857, either just before moving from Indiana, or just after arriving in Minnesota he converted to the Methodist Church (by the earnest persuasion of his sons, Rev. Harvey Webb & Rev. Loren Webb), where he and the rest of the family stayed.

Military Service : unknown and unlikely;

Occupation(s) :  Oliver spent the majority of his 92 years, 10 months, and 11 days farming.  He was well known in Ridgefield Township, Huron County, Ohio as one of the first owners of a horse powered thresher.  While residing in Laporte County and Marshall County, Indiana he farmed and was a lumberman.  When he moved to Minnesota in 1856 he farmed and made money threshing his neighbor’s properties during the Civil War.  Oliver was elected Chairman & one of three Town Supervisors of Roscoe Township, Goodhue County, Minnesota on 11 May 1858, served one term.  He was a successful, hard working farmer, who never made a great deal of money, but never failed to provide a home for his extended family, even while living in frontier areas.  He stopped farming sometime prior to 1880.
